Playin' ball and lovin' it

Carson is a few games shy of finishing baseball for this year. He seems to really like it this year and looks forward to his games. It's been neat seeing how much he has learned and grown in just one year. We have really enjoyed watching him out their on the field. Here is a picture of Carson playing catcher.

Last year was t-ball and this year is coach pitch. In case you don't know, the coach pitches 3 balls and then they get to hit off the tee if they didn't hit any of the pitches. A year ago I couldn't fathom Carson actually hitting a ball pitched to him. What a difference a year makes! Granted, he does have to hit off the T sometimes, but I can't believe how much he has changed and how he can actually hit a ball pitched!

Wade's parents and brother and sister-in-law were in town last weekend and came to Carson's game. Here is Ellie trying on Nana's sunglasses!

Callahan started hiding behind the light pole and playing peek-a-boo with us. I love this picture because he really doesn't think that we can see him!

Then Ellie joined in on the fun and imitated Cal. They were pretty cute.

How fun! This time of life is SO neat isn't it?! We are doing coach pitch in the fall. I love seeing all the pics of Carson on the field and the kids off the field! Our lives are very parallelled right now.. would be neat if we could be experiencing it together- thankfully for blog land we sort of can! Hope your weekend is great!

I can remember each one of you kids at this age, brings a tear. I would say Carson is JUST a little competitive.

Wow. Carson is so old. Callahan is hilarious. That pole picture is so sweet. I can't wait to see those boys. It'll be scary to see how much they've changed since Thanksgiving. We are excited.
