boom boom pow!

My children LOVE the Black-Eyed Peas song "Boom Boom Pow"....especially Cal! We recorded the pregame for the NFL kick-off a couple of weeks ago and he still asks occasionally for "dance t.v.". At least it's not Lady Gaga!

FLAG FOOTBALL '09

No these are not their costumes this year. They are in Carson's dress up stash and a few weeks ago the boys walked into my room on a Saturday morning wearing these. They were so proud of themselves, especially Callahan!





Carson started Flag Football already and is on the same team as last year, the Titans. He loves it and scored a touchdown, but had it called back b/c his foot went out of bounds! It is amazing to see the difference in a year, in how he gets it so much better than last year. Here are some pictures from Saturdays game.

BLOGGER SLACKER!

I've slacked on my blog lately, so for anyone (besides mom & dad and Andrea) who still looks at my blog - here is an update of what we've been up to.


A couple of weeks ago, we went to Tahlequah for the day so Wade could play in a golf tournament with his brother and the kids and I visited Jaren and Ellie. We love to go to their park that they have. It is a really nice, shaded park with swings, slides, climber, merry go round, and a great creek that is shallow enough to play in. The boys love going to that park. Carson and Ellie had fun getting in the water, but Cal didn't want to have anything to do with getting "messy!"




Carson and Ellie. They really love each other. Ellie loves being around Carson and Carson kisses and loves on her! It's pretty sweet.

We went to West Memphis last weekend for Labor Day, and look who surprised us with fun news!!



Greg & Jaren are due in April with their 2nd and we couldn't be happier to be an aunt and uncle again!






Ellie and her dog "Clooney". She loves to walk the dog and she can hold him pretty good! I was impressed.



Every night, Callahan goes and gets in bed with Carson during the night. We will move him to his bed, and then when we wake up in the morning he is back in bed with Carson. It is sweet to see how much he loves Carson and loves to sleep next to him at night! Poor Carson though, he gets kicked and pushed and he says that he doesn't get a lot of sleep some nights.




Football season has officially kicked off in the Ramer household! Carson started flag football again this fall and of course, college and NFL kick off was this past week and the boys couldn't be happier!

Callahan started wearing big boy underwear! He still hasn't mastered #2, but we are working on it. That has been the harder of the two for sure. Here he is showing off his new undies!




On Sunday, Carson learned to ride his bike! Woo hoo! He wanted to try last Spring, but he got frustrated and scared and kinda gave up. So this Summer he tried a tiny bit, but got too hot and frustrated. Then lately he has been asking for a skateboard. I told him that a skateboard was way harder than a bike, so he would have to learn a bike first, and then we might talk about a skateboard. He would hardly let us help him, and he would get frustrated when we would. So on Sunday, Wade noticed that he would pedal a full turn and then put his foot down every time. So he told him to keep pedaling and helped him a little and....wala....he was riding on his own! He loves it and even wanted to ride this morning before school at 7:30! Here he is on Sunday riding.
