sick kids and "Mimi" the great!!

My mom ran her first marathon today in Oklahoma City for the OKC Memorial Run dedicated to the 168 people who lost their lives in the bombing of the Federal Building April 19, 1995. She ran the full marathon for the first time and did great!!! She is my inspiration...the woman can do ANYTHING!! I am so proud of her...two years ago I would have never dreamed she could do this...she weighed at least 75 lbs more than she does now and didn't exercise at all. She has come a LONG way! I just had to brag on her. WAY TO GO MOM! I love you very much and am so proud of you!! Hopefully I can get a picture of her to post from the marathon. I couldn't go b/c my kiddos were sick, yes they have been sick for over a week now. Callahan is better as of today, but Carson got sick Wednesday with stomach virus and still has yucky diarrhea even today (Sunday)!! Wade got the stomach virus too during the week, but is much better now. We are SO ready for all to be well around here..I'm just grateful that I haven't gotten it!

t-ball game, Cal is 18 months and sick AGAIN!

okay, I have all these pictures out of order - Sorry about that. I cannot ever remember how it posts them when I download so many...any tips out there? Anyways, Carson had t-ball this weekend and did very well. It was great weather and lots of fun. Here he is (above) ready to bat.

He is second in line - #6, in case you can't find him...
There he is at 2nd base getting ready for the game to start.
After he batted, walking back to the dugout.
There is Callahan, the younger brother admiring the big kids! He kept trying to figure out how to get in there with them.
Carson practing with Allison - she is the only girl on our team, but she is probably one of the better ones. She is really good!
Carson is the second in from the right. The team is getting ready for the game to start and listening to their coach.
Carson getting warmed up.
Waiting in the batter's circle getting ready to be the next batter!

Callahan at 18 months...
He had a great week last week and then on Saturday got sick again with some virus...throwing up, diarrhea, fever....all the fun stuff. He's a little better, but not 100% yet. Poor guy!
Carson warming up some more with Allison.

Let's play ball!

Carson had his first t-ball game last night! He got 2 homeruns and got the other team out 2 times! He was very excited. Wade took him to the game and videotaped for me....Callahan and I could not go unfortunately. The weather was really crummy, it was very cold and extremely windy outside. Since Callahan had been sick all week, we couldn't risk it. His next game is next weekend and the weather is supposed to be nice...it is Spring after all!
I couldn't help but squeeze and kiss him when he got dressed because I thought he was too darn cute in his little outfit!

Wade surprised us with chocolate donuts for breakfast yesterday - Carson's fave. He's just a little happy about them!

Callahan is feeling MUCH better and back to his old happy self! No more fever - YEAH!

Time for nap - this is his signature look when he is tired and ready to go to bed. He loves to go to sleep!
Carson got these silly sunglasses from a sonic wacky pack this weekend - when he puts them on, Callahan cracks up. Thank you Sonic for your wacky pack prizes...lately they have been pretty good and entertained my kids for quite a while!
Oops, this picture was supposed to go up there with the other donut picture. Chocolate donuts...how can you not smile about that!!

visit from Ramer's, Cal sick, and Carson wants to be a basketball player!

Callahan has been home sick all week with fever (since Monday). Today is actually the first day all week that he woke up without a fever! Yeah! The doctor said that he had a virus and that the fever could last consistently for 5 days...she was right on the money!
Carson has been playing basketball all the time (inside and outside) lately and got himself dressed the other day saying that he wanted to "look like a big boy basketball player." He says that is what he wants to be when he grows up...Callahan I think just wants to be like Carson.
Ellie Jane came for a visit last weekend (along with her parents and grandparents!) We are so excited because they (Greg & Jaren) are going to be moving to Tahlequah, OK where he will be going to optometry school in the fall. So instead of being nearly 5 hours away, they will only be a little over an hour away. We were laughing all weekend at her b/c she looks exactly like Greg, just shrunken down and wearing pink!
I should've known when I took this picture that Callahan was starting to feel bad...although he had just woken up and that is his cuddliest time!
The Easter bunny stopped by Wade's parents house and dropped off the kids baskets!
Our basketball player! He asked me if I wanted to take his picture.
Carson starts t-ball this weekend...so I will post some pics this week.
