I am married to my best friend of 14 years who is not only an amazing partner, but an exceptional father to our three fun-loving, active, adorable, and silly little boys. With all the testosterone in our house, life can get a little crazy around here, but I thank God for it because I wouldn't be that same without it. This blog is a way for me to remember each stage of our life and keep my family and friends updated on our growing boys!
It was probably the rainiest weekend ever here, seriously rained non-stop and then some!! So we had our egg hunt in the house, but the boys LOVED it, especially Cal. Then went to church, and then came home and fixed a few things to take to our friends, the Brownings, for lunch. It was a blessed day. We are thankful to know the Savior!
I came around the corner the other night and found Crosby sitting in Cal's bottom dresser drawer! He had a big grin on his face. My parents have a picture of me sitting in a kitchen drawer - too bad I don't have it for comparison.
Speaking of drawers, Crosby LOVES them. He will get drawers open and pull everything out. Here he is in my bra/panties drawer...Nice!
Greg and Jaren and the girls came yesterday for the Spring Red/White football game. Olivia and Crosby were hard to take a picture. Seem like one would look at the camera and smile and then the other would start crawling, then we would get the one crawling set for the picture and the other would start crawling. This was the best we could do. Olivia is about to start crawling here, but it still turned out pretty cute!
Ellie cracks me up because she is a "copy cat". That is Jaren's words, not mine! She does try to do everything just like her cousins and it's pretty funny....even right down to the pose in pictures.
Wade went to a food show on Thursday and brought a bunch of balloons home for the boys. You would've thought it was Christmas with the way the reacted when he walked in the door!
Crosby turned 10 months old yesterday! He is changing so much! His top two teeth are in and the ones to the sides of those are coming in now and have broken through the skin. Once they are in fully, he will have 8 teeth! He is starting to eat more and more table food and is starting to pick up food from his tray more with his fingers and self feed. He also is trying to drink juice from a sippy cup more. He loves bananas! That is probably his favorite food right now. He is not a big rice fan though - spits that out every time! The above video is of him on our way to chuckEcheese last week. The boys were in the back seat making him laugh. I remembered I had my camera (at the last minute!) and tried to video him with his belly laughing. He was winding down with the huge laughing at this point, but still has some good chuckles.
Crosby loves playing with the boys things, anything they are playing with - he loves! He would rather do that then play with baby toys. He also loves cords, remote controls, electrical outlets, and nightlights, oh...and the dishwasher! YES - We have to watch him like a HAWK, needless to say. He also discovered the toilet paper roll this week and has had lots of fun getting the toilet paper off the roll, not so much fun for me or daddy though! He loves to go outside and will cry if the boys take off outside without him.
