Crosby videos

Crosby is so close to crawling these days. He just needs to figure out how to move his arms. The first and last videos are of him trying his best to crawl....he's close! The other two videos are from yesterday. Crosby started babbling "bababa" a bunch and clapping. So they are of those "big moments!"

Snow Day + No School = Sledding!

Yesterday afternooon, we bundled up and went sledding at Wilson Park here in Fayetteville.  The boys didn't have school because of all the snow...there is also no snow today!  Yay!  We had a great time, Cal didn't like snow flying in his face though.  He sled a few times and mostly watched all of us.  Once, I put my scarf around his face, he was better and sled a little more.  Carson must've sled a bazillion times...they were both SOOO worn out last night that neither complained about going to bed when it was time and both fell asleep as soon as their little heads hit the pillow!  Sledding is so fun, it brought back many memories for me of living in upstate New York when I was a kid.  We sled everyday after school, but just had to walk literally across the street from my house!  I didn't know then how spoiled I was!

Carson is 8!

Carson turned 8 on Saturday.  WOW!  I'm not old enough to have an 8 year old!??!!  Okay, no more pity party for me.  This is about Carson!  Anyways, he had a party at Fun City with some friends from school.  He had a great time.  He got to spin the birthday spinner and won 1000 tickets!  He also hit the jackpot on another token game and won 1000 tickets.  He bought a mini digital camera with all his ticket loot!  He had a great day..........Cal on the other hand, kept asking for "4 presents."  He did pretty good, but is very ready for his birthday now.  Too bad October is so far away!  Crosby was just happy to have new faces to look at and new people to give him all kinds of attention!

Christmas in Tahlequah

We went to Tahlequah to Wade's brother's and sis-in-law's for Christmas with Wade's family this year a few days after Christmas.  We spent the day there and had a wonderful visit.  It was great weather and so the kids were able to get out and play!

 Ellie cracks me up in this picture because she has totally gotten into the unnatural smile phase where it's such a strain and she says "cheeeeeeeeese" while she grits her teeth!  So funny!

Crosby at 7 months

Today, Crosby turned 7 months old.  He is a tremendous blessing to our family.  What a joy he truly is!  His hair has really grown in the past month.  He is also sitting up better, but still falls over sometimes.  He is getting up some on all fours and rocking back and forth.  He scoots backwards when he is on his tummy and gets his legs stuck a lot under furniture!  He eats 3 full bottles a day and eats breakfast, lunch, and dinner (baby food that is).  Happy New Year from this happy boy!
