Carson had his last baseball game on Thursday night and since our team was sponsored by Eureka Pizza, we had to have a pizza party! We met before the game at the park pavilion and the boys received their trophies. They all made so much progress in this short season, I am amazed that 6 year old boys can change so quickly. Carson really had a great team and had a good time. Now we play in a tournament this week and our game is on Wednesday. Maybe we'll win...but if not, we just hope we have fun!
Here is Carson's team, Carson is way down on the right said shoving a bite of pizza in his mouth.

Here is Carson receiving his trophy from the coaches.

Awww, so cute!! We can't wait to visit again tomorrow!
Carson has really come so far this year. I think I was most amazed with the way Carson managed himself before the game I went to than I even was at how he played ball. Remember how he had a game right after we had dinner at Mushroom Pizza and he had to change from school clothes to his baseball uniform in the back of the car? He pulled off those clothes and got his uniform on complete with baseball socks pulled up, and then rolled up his own pants to exactly where he wanted them, tucked in his own shirt, put on a hat and grabbed his glove and hit that field without once complaining or whining, you would have thought he was 12. He never got frustrated with any of it, or anxious and he didn't complain once. I was so proud of him just getting himself completely ready, never mind he was the cutest and best little player on the field! Even if he would have struck out every time and just stood there making animals out of clouds he still would have been the best in my opinion, cause he's my grandchild, that makes him best! Thanks for being the kind of parents that support him in all the things little boys like to do.
So that WAS you in Hobby Lobby today! I thought so, and almost said something, but my kids were acting nutso. I'm always surprised when I see someone I know since I haven't lived in AR for 8 years. I figured it out by looking up your blog. Your boys are too cute!
