Happy 2nd Birthday Callahan!

Today, our little Cal turned 2! Hard to believe, really! I feel like he should only be about 14 months! Here are some pictures of his birth and first week, then his 1st birthday, and then today at two.

Here are some things about Callahan that I don't want to forget that he is doing at this age:

*Cal LOVES to give hugs and kisses. He is our cuddler. He will usually always give you a hug when you ask for it and sometimes just gives you a hug whenever he wants to. He likes to run to you with his arms out to the sides and he will grab you around the neck and squeeze. He will do this over and over if you egg it on! He also does this funny thing with his nose when he goes to give you a kiss...he scrunches his nose up and points to it and blows out of it kind of like a bull I guess you could say. It is pretty funny and we don't know where he got that, but we all know that means "kisses."

*Callahan loves to go to bed. When we lay him down, he will usually wave goodnight and start sucking his right thumb and twirling his hair with his left hand. When we go in in the mornings, a lot of times he will just be laying there awake and will wave right when he sees us.

*Callahan insists on carrying Carson's lunch bag into school each day. He really thinks he is as big as Carson. He carries it all the way to his room, and then hands it to him at the door and you guessed it...gives Carson a big hug.

*He says "WOOOAAAAHHHHH" and "uh-oh" about 100 times a day. If Wade is watching football and there is a big pass, tackle, anything...he will say "WOAH!" He will say "uh-oh" for the right times and "woah" at just the right times. It is really funny.

*Callahan loves to get in bed at night with Carson and read books. We read Carson's books, but Cal makes sure he is right there in the middle getting in on the action. He will try to get under the covers and lay there with Carson too when it's time to go to sleep and we'd probably let him if he wasn't so squirmy.

*When we pray at dinner or bedtime, he will hold his little hands together and pray too. He usually jabbers or laughs at each one of us, but he is usually the first to put his hands together.

---I'm sure there are many more things, but that's good for now. Callahan - we love you and are blessed beyond measure having you in our family. You make us so happy and proud. We thank God for your easy-going, fun loving spirit and your happy heart. Happy 2nd birthday!!
