Destin 2008

We just got back from a week long vacation to Destin, FL with Wade's family. We had a great time...except for the jellyfish! We ate, shopped, swam at the pool, saw two movies (Hancock - excellent and Black Knight - also very good!) and ate, shopped, swam some more. I haven't been to two movies in one week since probably the 9th grade, or at least definetley pre-kiddos so that was a real treat! Thanks Nana and Pappy for all the babysitting...we totally took advantage of our live-in babysitters. Here are some pictures with more to come later. Carson got these motorcycle guys at a local beach/souvenir shop and loved playing with them everyday! He asked me to take a picture of him with them.

We took Carson to this splash park at an outdoor mall in Destin....he loved it, but Cal was a little scared of it.

Wade and Uncle Greg were sweet enough to go through it a couple of times with Carson and Cal warmed up to it a little when Wade would hold him.

Callahan at The Crab Trap. Great place to eat with fantastic views of the beach and the kids dinners come in a bucket with a shovel - Carson loved that. Our other place that we love probably more is Back Porch ... so if you ever go to Destin and haven't eaten there, we HIGHLY recommend it!
