Carson's swim lessons Part II

Carson's swim teacher, Ms. Kim, called on Sunday and had a child cancel for the whole week due to illness so Carson got to have another round of swim lessons. He was excited! This time around he worked more on his back float, swimming across the shallow end with his chin down and arms straight by his head, and getting the rings off the bottom. The new things were working on the breast stroke and diving off the diving board and swimming to the ladder. He did great and has gone from a scared little boy to a giant fish! He loves to swim and the fear seems to be gone. It was perfect timing to have this refresher course right before our beach trip!

Below is a video clip of Carson's diving board debut!

Whoa! That kid can SWIM! I need to take lessons from Kim!
Dad saw the blog first of course, he figures out when I'm out of pocket and then gets on and then he waits till we are away from home and computer so I can't get on and he really makes me suffer! These blogs are so fun, just look at what we would be missing if you and Andrea weren't doing this!

Wow! I am so impressed with how good Carson does in the pool! I'm hoping that swim lessons will help my kiddos from being timid in the pool. Its neat (and a little sad) to see our kids doing grown-up things, isn't it? Side note--I saw your other post below on watermelon--I don't like it either. I guess we can be weird together...

What a great swimmer! Looks like the lessons really paid off. I love all of the pictures you post of your two adorable sons. Keep them coming! Hugs!
