This is my precious and adorable nephew, Kyan Michael Scott. He is 2 1/2 years old. He has a diagnosis of Autism. He has been on a Glutein Free/Casein Free diet, takes a TON of supplements, receives B-12 injections twice per week, and receives Early Intervention therapy services. He has made tremendous progress in less than a year. He hasn't even had his diagnosis for a year and I cannot even tell you how far he has come. His mommy and daddy are the BIGGEST reasons for that, as they are his advocates and work with him daily!

Please also pray for all children being diagnosed or who are diagnosed with Autism as it is an epidemic affecting 1 in 90 (I think that's right) children in America today. The treatments, including diet, bio-medical intervention, and therapies are EXTREMELY expensive - so pray that there will be more government funding to families for assistance in recovering their precious children. Great job to his parents. One of my best friends has a 6 year old that is in every sense of the word "cured" He literally shows NO signs of autism at all. He is in mainstream 1st grade and is a reading fool. We (they) chalk it up to God's healing and a tremendous amount of work by Brady and his parents. Hours upon hours of therapy but SO totally worth it. He was even featured on GMA as a success story. So, congrats to them and thanks for sharing.

That was really sweet. I love hearing recovery stories so that is great to hear about Brady. Wonder what kind of therapy they did with him? Hope our Kyan can be that kind of story too.

I will pray for Kyan! The church I go to has a healing team and they prayed over my nephew today. We prayed for his speech. The healing team anointed him with oil and prayed. My sister said she could feel Sam's body shake as the team was praying. God is awesome and more powerful than we can imagine!
