On our way home from Houston, we stopped in Dallas for a night. The kids LOVE staying at hotels and love to swim in the indoor pool. We drove by our old house, then headed to the hotel and let the kids swim for a while.

We worked up an appetite and decided to take the kids to eat at Rainforest Cafe. They've never been before. Callahan was a little scared at first, but warmed up some to it by the time we left. He just stayed really quiet and was on the lookout for what animal was going to make noise next. If you know Cal at all, quiet is not something that is part of his make-up. Carson loved it and thought it was a pretty cool place. While we ate, a guy came around and made kids balloon animals. Carson wanted an alligator and Cal wanted an "orange dog."

The next morning, we went next door from our hotel to the Bass Pro Shop.
Then we headed to Arlington to tour the new Cowboy Stadium. Carson was in HEAVEN! It was a great tour and was something we wouldn't get to do even if we went to a game there. We got to see so much of it.

This is one of the views from inside the stadium.
Since the Cotton Bowl will be hosted there, this is a wall of the SEC helmets and then to the right are the BIG XII helmets. I was running out of batter so I only took a picture of the most important ones! HA! Go SEC!
We got to tour the locker room and here are the boys in front of Arkansas alumni RB Felix Jones.
