Pumpkin Patch

Last weekend, we took the boys to a REAL pumpkin patch here and it was GREAT! Carson absolutely loved it and kept telling us that the whole time. He even stopped at one point and said "this is just so amazing!". It was a huge farm with pumpkins of every shape, size, and color. When we got there, the owners handed us a pair of clippers and a wagon and let us go out to the fields and cut our own pumpkins off the vine. We did cut two small pumpkins with the boys, but the others were so huge and not totally ripe yet. So we decided to buy the rest from the pre-picked stash in the tent they had set up. It was really great and the weather was perfect for it. This is our favorite time of the year, Carson said it was probably the best day of his life! Halloween is his favorite holiday and going to the pumpkin patch is one of his favorite things to do all year.

The owner said that as October goes on, this field of green will die down and you will just see this huge field of pumpkins with that hill behind it full of color - soooo pretty and makes me just love this part of Arkansas all the more...we really get our feel for fall with all the fall foliage and I LOVE it!

When we got in the car, Carson said "Mommy, That. Was. Fun!".
