Thanksgiving 2008

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving this year with my brother, sister-in-law, and nephew Kyan for two days. My parents couldn't come because of my dad's broken arm, and my sister was spending thanksgiving with her husband and my nephew, Dylan, with my brother-in-law's family in Arizona. So even though it was just us, we had a great time and it was so good to get to spend some time together.

Here is Callahan with his pre-thanksgiving meal - M&M's. Yes, he has a huge sweet tooth and asks for candy at least 10 times a day.

Andrea and Wade carving the turkey. Andrea looks a little too happy holding that knife!

Here's Kyan Michael on Thanksgiving Day, such a good boy, at 17 months.

Now starts the hugging fest....Carson and Callahan LOVED giving Kyan hugs and squeezes. Poor Kyan was basically smothered by his cousins!

Callahan just couldn't get enough....but poor Kyan practically got choked!

Greg, Jaren, Ellie, and Wade's parents stopped by Friday to watch the HOGS beat LSU (woo hoo!) and the girls did some shopping...here is Ellie at 10 1/2 months.

Here are the guys watching the HOG game

This was the only picture that looked half way decent of the boys all together actually looking at the camera.

Thank you Matt and Andrea for spending thanksgiving with us and thanks for the yummy treats you brought. We had a great time.

Thank you God for all the blessings in our lives, but especially for giving us Jesus.

Oh man that made me really sad to have missed Thanksgiving with all of you! Great pictures, I love blogs, at least I feel like I got to taste a little bit of the food and fun. Good job on that dinner Mikey! The thing I think we are most thankful for are our four grandsons! We love you guys and if I can keep your father off ladders we'll join you next year! Love ya, Mom

I can't believe you guys had to cook a turkey...I dread the day when I am in charge of Thanksgiving. I loved all of the pics.

What a cute group of boys!! Think of how much food you will need to feed them in a few years...
