Carson's First Day of Kindergarten
Carson started kindergarten on Monday! He was so excited about it. He has had a good week and really likes his teacher, Ms. Ellis. He loves recess and said that PE was "was good, but not really really great." He has been tired, school starts at 7:50 and ends at 2:50 with no rest period! I'm tired for him. I have done surprisingly well, I get sad when I think about him only have a 15-20 minute recess period. Kindergarten is NOT like it used to be! Thank you all for your sweet thoughts and comments. I appreciate all of you!

I'm so proud of you for not having a breakdown! Sounds like you are doing great. That's a really nice school.
I am so glad that he is having a good time in kindergarten. It took us a few months to get our schedule down when Mikey started school. I think the structure was harder on me than it was on Michael Ann.

I can't believe we are at this stage. Sam starts Mondays -- I am happy it is just half day so I can ease myself into it!

Where does the time go?!! I'm sure looking at Carson you can think back to when he was a baby. They grow up way too fast. I'm sure when Ashlyn starts school next year I will be bawling my eyes out--You'll have to give me pointers on how to keep it together. ;) Love ya!
He looks so grown up and handsome! I can't believe you have a kid in kindergarten. Sounds like he's having a great time, and I bet you are counting down the minutes to 2:50!
