Carson turned 5 on the 15th. We just can't believe it. He got a new Smart Cycle from Mimi, Papa, Nana, and Pappy and he loves it! It's really good for the winter, b/c it's like riding a stationary bike and since it's too cold to go outside and burn energy, he can now do it inside!
He had to get up the next morning and play it first thing!

Carson's birthday party at Ms. Linda's. The children were so excited and so sweet! They would go up to Carson and say "happy birthday Carson Ramer!" and he would say "thank you so and so" (saying their first and last name too).
I hurt my back right before his birthday and didn't have the strength to really wrap his big presents so instead, we put each of his 3 big gifts in a bedroom and let him go on a "hunt" for his presents. He loved it and it really was great for me.
Callahan thought Carson's birthday was great and that everything was for him. He thinks he is as big as his big brother!
Carson and his new guitar - he really loves music lately and we have dance parties a lot in the evenings and he plays to Elvis CD's. He actually has a few Elvis moves that we have no idea where he learned them!
Carson wanted a new bike - a green one!

Carson had a great birthday and was so excited for it for days. He woke up on his birthday and ran into the den with a huge smile on his face. I said "happy birthday Carson" and he excitedly replied "THANK YOU!" He loves being 5 now! And we love him more than we ever though we could. It's been 5 fast years - although it's hard to remember life without him with us (and we were married for 5 years before he came along!) Carson is a smart, sweet, sensitive boy with a big heart. He is also head strong and pretty set in his ways. He is a great big brother and makes us laugh everyday. Thank you God for sharing Carson with us.

Wow, can it really be five years??!!! It seems like I was just at your house sitting in your front office in Flower Mound holding him fresh from God! What a handsome little guy! I know you don't know me but Happy Birthday sweet boy! Looks like a fun time was had by all! Great presents too! Hope your back is feeling better mom!
